CloudBounce Mastering ReviewĬloudBounce have the highest quality online mastering service around in 2021. I feel there are better options like Loopcloud or Splice, and better options for music distribution. I wouldn't use their distribution or samples either. Landr is probably my 2nd pick for mastering, out of this roundup. They're also slightly cheaper and offer a better service. They're an Abbey Road Red company, and have a lot more in-depth mastering options than Landr do. However, Landr definitely in't my favourite online mastering service when it comes to sound. It's also great to have free masters every month with a free account that you can use for things like, playing tracks out or hearing what a track would sound like at commercial volume. Landr is a great online mastering services that offers a lot if you go for a pro plan. When mastering using Landr you'll get access to Hi-Res WAV and MP3 files, and also be able to choose you mastering intensity and change the decisions the AI will make based on your genre etc. Landr also offers some extras like cloud backup for you masters, and other services like samples, and music distribution. Using Landr's services can save you a lot of money in the long run, and for what you're paying Landr, it does a better job than if you were to pay an engineer the same amount. Some people may have a bad opinion of Landr, but it's cheap, pretty much instant, and does a great job. As long as you've got a decent mix, it's going to bring your track to commercial volumes so you can play it out in a club, on radio or on Spotify and your track will sound good when put up against others. I've personally used Landr to master music before, because I had some shows to play and didn't have time to wait for a mastering engineer to get back to me.Īnd, from experience I can say, the masters that Landr produces are actually really, really good. Landr will apply things like EQ, Compression, Limiting, Exciting & more to you tracks. When using Landr, you're essentially putting your track through an AI algorithm that will analzye your track and create a unique set of points to alter your audio from. This is pretty great if you're an independent artist, because releasing 1-2 tracks a month is a great thing to do to gain traction. One of the great things about Landr is that they offer 2 free masters/month with a free account. Landr is an online mastering service that's powered by clever AI. He didn’t write the songs and he wasn’t a studio genius like producer George Martin, who helped to mould Lennon, McCartney and Harrison’s tunes into something spectacular. His drumming here is not complicated but – as numerous live versions of the song attest – it is lethally exact with not a note out of place, giving the lie to the notion, repeated by John Lennon in a 1980 Playboy interview, that Ringo was “not technically good” as a drummer.Īnother criticism of Ringo is that he wasn’t a creative god like the other Beatles. 100 of all Ringo's proceeds are donated to the Lotus Foundation15' x 19' unframed giclee, hand signed by Ringo Starr. On Can’t Buy Me Love, Ringo’s drumming is the primal force that drives the song’s hormonal energy, all whipcrack snare and floor-tom bombast, wrapped up in Ringo’s signature sound: a wall-of-sound hi-hat thrash that sounds like five drummers at once. These are beats designed to enhance the song rather than show off the drummer’s abilities. As The Beatles drummer and all-around nice guy, Ringo Starr becomes the grooviest octogenarian we know. What this means is that many of Ringo’s best performances go unnoticed. “Is it someone that’s technically proficient? Or is it someone that sits in the song with their own feel? Ringo was the king of feel.” Heres a look back at the drummers time with the Beatles and the decades that followed, in photos: 1963: Ringo Starr with the Beatles The Beatles, from. “Define ‘best drummer in the world’,” Dave Grohl said in a tribute video for Starr’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame presentation.
